Indoor Wedding
The Wentworth can accommodate wedding receptions of up to 125 guests in our two back dining rooms, with dancing on our porch area. For weddings of 125 or more, the entire main inn of The Wentworth is available. Your guests will dine in all three dining rooms, with dancing in our elegant lobby.
Following your wedding ceremony and photographs, you and your guests will congregate in our elegant lobby for a cocktail reception, traditional champagne toast and cake cutting ceremony. The ringing of the dinner bell will announce seating for dinner, and guests will be escorted to their assigned table by our professional staff. Dancing to the sounds of your favorite band or DJ will commence after dinner, either in our lobby or on the porch.
Tent Wedding
Our elegant tent weddings are held May through October and can accommodate up to 200 guests. Our tent is a permanent structure during the summer months with a raised platform floor and outdoor carpet, dancefloor, bandstand, tables, chiavari chairs and all linens, glassware and silverware.
Your day will start indoors with a cocktail reception, champagne toast and ceremonial cake cutting. The ringing of the dinner bell will announce time for seating, and guests will be escorted to their assigned table by our professional staff. Following dinner, dancing will commence on the dance floor under the tent. After dancing the night away many of our guests retire to our lounge to enjoy our live pianist until closing time.
